Before/After Photos:

You will take your “Before” photos at the start of your program and upload them when you register. You’re “After” photos will be due on or before July 1, 2020. On all of your front photos, you must hold a newspaper with a readable headline to authenticate the dates of the photos. The date of the photo (and newspaper) must be within 10 days of the date of your registration (Note: Magazines are not acceptable to verify photo dates.) Show as much of your physique as possible. Remember that you will be judged on the most dramatic change, so we must be able to see your body clearly (swim suits or gym trunks are strongly recommended.) Make sure when you take your pictures that you are as close as possible to the camera. (If your image is too small, we cannot judge your entire physique, nor can we see the newspaper headline.) If possible, have your “After” photos taken professionally. Your photos will count for 40% of your total score, so make sure they look good!

Measurements:

Finally, keep track of your body composition measurements. You will be asked to submit your beginning stats when you register. Weight is the only required form of measurements. However, we recommend tracking your progress using circumference measurements as well as an inbody scan, that you can obtain for free at 5 Star Nutrition. Whatever method you choose, be sure to stay consistent by choosing the same measurements each time, on the same day of the week around the same time of day. You will need to submit your “After” stats as well. After stats are due no later than July 1, 2020. At minimum, we will need to have a before/after weight measurement.

Judging:

Overall Transformation Stats – 40% Before and After Photos – 40% Stage presence:20% Round Format: * INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATION The competitor will be judged on presentation and poise in addition to before/after photos and stats. Your stage walk will be discussed at athletes meeting the evening before Max Muscle Classic. * GROUP COMPARISON– Transformation athletes will be asked to hit a front and back pose. * FINALS PRESENTATION– For the finals segment of the event, transformation athletes will be asked to get on stage. You will have up to 60 seconds to walk the stage as you choose, to best showcase your hard work. This may be a walk to display your physique, or movements to showcase your new found athleticism. Once all athletes have completed their walk, the top 5 athletes will be brought back on stage and presentation of awards will begin.

The head judge will then ask the competitor to complete a series of mandatory poses. All judges will be looking for a proportional ratio balance for the mandatory height verses weight classes. This includes muscularity, conditioning, symmetry and an overall appearance of a structured body. For women, judges will also judge on poise as well as shape.

Other areas they will be judging on are:

• Mandatory Poses (For Men, this includes at least three of the Classic BB Poses) • Individual posing round and comparison rounds

Comparison Round:

Once all competitors have completed their individual rounds, the head judge will call random competitor numbers of their choice to line up on center stage where quarter turn comparisons as well as mandatory posing comparisons will be performed. Upon completion of comparison round the head judge could call on competitors to return to stage in order to ensure proper judging and placement.

Evening Presentation Format:

Competitors will be called to stage one by one, where they will stop at center stage, strike a pose and proceed to line up on stage right/left based on the direction of the expeditor until each competitor has presented him/herself. The expeditor will then instruct all competitors to leave stage. Depending on the number of competitors in a class and the decision of the officials, either all competitors or the top 5 in the class will perform a 90 second routine to their chosen music. Please not rule for routines, only one routine will be performed if doing

Crossover divisions.
