The EPIC Throwdown will be a show of fitness bringing together a community of fitness enthusiasts to take part in a challenging but fun team competition.
There will be events that will test your strength, cardio, gymnastics, olympic lifting amongst other skills in order to find the team that is most well-rounded in fitness and strategy.
The Throwdown is an opportunity to take part in the largest sport festival held not only in Asia, but around the world with awards being presented by Arnold Schwartzenegger himself!
There will be an RX and a scaled division to choose from so if you are looking to take a dive into your first competition, this is a great opportunity to do so!
The event is open to any 4-person team comprising of 2 male competitors and 2 female competitors. A team name will need to be decided on and team spirit is compulsory!
Should you compete as Rx or Scaled?
Taking part as an Rx team does always sound like more fun and can often put you in a more competitive environment but often this may not be the best category for you or you may find it tough to find fellow competitors that are ready to take on this level. The good news is that we have a category suited for those who are competing for the first time or don’t feel quite ready to go full steam ahead in the Rx division.
Be sure to discuss as a team which category suits you best and from there you can get prepared and ready to take part, have fun and compete.
Keep in mind that there is no minimum work requirement for this competition so if there are only a few small movements that are generally holding you back then those are the ones you may decide to pass on to a stronger team mate.
Here are the recommended requirements for the RX division but keep in mind, there is NO MINIMUM WORK REQUIREMENT PER PERSON for the workouts! This list is NOT an exhaustive list of the movements you will encounter in the events but just a suggested list of movements that may or may not be required in the RX division.

As a team if you wont be able to cover these movements then the Scaled division may be more suitable for you.
