The 2017 American Armed Forces Weightlifting Championships is the very first Olympic style weightlifting meet in the USA exclusively open to all current, former, and retired United States military members. Weightlifting Wise and the Texas Barbell Club are honored to host this very first US military only competition in which athletes compete in the two overhead lifts: Snatch, and Clean and Jerk.

$500 CASH PRIZE to the best overall male & female

Lifters will compete in accordance with all USAW rules and must be current USAW registered members on the day of the event. All participating athletes must register with USA Weightlifting on or before the day of the event prior to competing.
